Machu Picchu Excursion

This day-long adventure is carefully coordinated with a travel agency that not only manages the many logistics seamlessly but also honors the sacredness of this land. I choose to partner with this agency because of their deep respect for Machu Picchu. They guide with reverence, storytelling, and ceremony rather than simply reciting facts.

Our guide will share the history of this sacred site and lead us in a beautiful offering ritual to the land. This experience is very important to me, as it allows us to connect with Machu Picchu in a way that is both meaningful and respectful.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience one of the world’s great wonders. Machu Picchu is considered a powerful energetic vortex, offering profound healing and transformation to those open to receiving it. This excursion is subject to sell out due to popularity and availability based on daily max capacity. Be sure to sign up early to save your spot!

This excursion includes:

  • 1.5-hour car ride to and from the retreat center to Ollantaytambo train station
  • 1.5-hour scenic train ride to and from Aguas Calientes
  • 20-minute bus ride to and from Machu Picchu
  • Admission to Machu Picchu

Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to enter Peru?

A valid passport is required. Please ensure your passport does not expire within six months after our retreat dates.

Are there any mandatory vaccinations?

No, there are no mandatory vaccinations to enter Peru. Some vaccinations are recommended, and we encourage you to consult with your doctor if you’d like guidance based on your personal health.

Will the altitude impact the trip?

You may wish to speak with your doctor about Diamox, a prescription that can help with altitude adjustment. Fortunately, we’ll be staying in the Sacred Valley, which sits at a lower elevation than Cusco and is often recommended for acclimating. Kayla will also provide tips for preventing and treating altitude sickness. At the retreat center, you’ll have access to coca and muña tea which are traditional natural remedies. In addition, the first two days of our retreat are intentionally more relaxed, giving you space to rest and adjust.

Why a women’s retreat?

I host women’s retreats because I believe in the transformative power of sisterhood. These retreats offer a safe space to move beyond comparison and competition, and instead step into unconditional support, connection, and love. As women, we often take on the role of caregiver, yet rarely allow ourselves to be cared for. This is your invitation to receive, to be nurtured, and to reconnect with yourself. Over the years, I’ve witnessed the magic that unfolds when women gather in sacred space. I see vulnerability deepen, guards come down, and true healing occurs. These retreats are more than an escape; they are a homecoming to yourself, your power, and the strength of sisterhood.

What if I don’t know anyone?

Most participants come on their own. If you feel called to experience the healing of Peru, trust that inner nudge! Time and time again, women arrive not knowing anyone and leave with lifelong friendships.
